The retreat starts directly on the day of arrival, when you have time to explore the retreat area and its surroundings.
In the evening, there will be a first meeting in a cozy atmosphere.
We get to know each other a little better and start with movement to gain an initial insight into the body systems and end the evening with dinner together.
The following seminar days start with a yoga session and breakfast.
The dance therapy workshops are spread over one or two sessions a day (four hours in total), depending on the intensity of the respective body system.
At lunchtime, you have an extensive break to regenerate, swim or go on short excursions, whatever you feel like.
After dinner, you can spend the evenings as you wish or take part in one of the evening programs/specials that we have planned for you.
Half of the time, you have a free day to explore the area.
Autumn on Crete is perfect for hikes along the coast and in the mountains, as well as excursions to quaint villages in the area. The temperatures are still so pleasant that you can definitely relax on the beach and go swimming.

✧ Retreat description: Gaia's Dance
Dive into the vibrant depths of your inner landscape - Gaia's Dance is a nourishing retreat that combines dance therapy, yoga and intuitive movement to guide you back into a space of safety, wisdom and power.
Inspired by the ancient wisdom of Greek deities and supported by the nourishing presence of the earth, we invite you on a journey from chaos to tenderness - from raw expression to powerful clarity.
The body systems of skin, connective tissue, muscles, bones, organs, nerves and glands etc. are fundamentally known to us all. They all serve our lives.
✧ The journey
In the dance of life, where order and disorder meet, Gaia's Dance guides you through the archetypal movement from the wild to the subtle, from the fragmented to the whole. In mindful yoga sequences and in-depth dance therapy sessions, you explore the body systems - bones, muscles, connective tissue, organs, skin - as living instruments of your self-perception.
Each system becomes a gateway:
Together we want to take a closer look at some of the body systems and observe which one serves us better, which one is better known to us and which of the body systems still offers opportunities to learn something new about ourselves. You will be given space to discover in which of the body systems there is potential for you, e.g. to relax more or to go into your individual power.
The work with the body systems is at home in BodyMindCentering, but also offers content-related, professional connections in yoga, dance movement and dance therapy, which we can use to promote resilience and self-awareness.
✧ Elements of dance therapy
Through elements of dance and movement therapy, you will be invited to unfold your very own power of expression. Improvisation, structured movement processes, touch, breath and stillness accompany you as you shed old patterns and listen to your body's wisdom.
Although dance therapy elements are used, the aim of the retreat is not therapy. Participants experienced in dance therapy are welcome to use the seminar for emotional introspection and further development in awareness of their abilities.
✧ Greek archetypes & earth as a mirror
In connection with archetypal forces - Artemis' wild freedom, Demeter's nurturing embrace, Persephone's descent into the depths - we encounter aspects of ourselves: the shadow, healing, the return to wholeness.
The earth - Gaia herself - becomes our mentor. We are rooted in her. From the grounding, from the conscious connection to matter, all the nuances of being human emerge: tenderness, anger, joy, sadness, lust, love, clarity, etc....
✧ Effect & invitation
This retreat is not an escape, but a return. A return to your body as a temple, to the earth as a mother, to movement as prayer.
Gaia's Dance gives you space to sort out chaos - not through control, but through surrender. It invites you to discover strength in tenderness, to recognize grounding as the origin of your diversity and to use movement as the language of the soul.
