Our psyche is something very special. We often wait to practise dealing with the psyche when we are already deep in a crisis. Psychotherapy is one of the few opportunities in our society that offers space and know-how to get to know the psyche in its depth and beauty and to learn to deal with it lovingly.
Starting psychotherapy without a medical indication, but because you want to learn about yourself in depth, takes a lot of courage.
Anyone who has the courage to dare to look at and process their inner blind spots deserves appreciation and respect. Ultimately, I think that this courage and this path is the greatest gift we can give ourselves.
Because at the same time, “even if we work inwardly, we will remain imperfect. The question is how we can take responsibility for our imperfections instead of hiding them.” (J. Adler)
I believe our light comes from this work in the depths. That is what makes us shine.
my life motto:
In therapy, coaching and art, I am interested in the nuances, the quiet aesthetics, everything that is not directly visible at first but has to be unearthed or requires a second look. The view that allows you to push aside the veil of the 'everyday view'. When I get to know people, I don't like to base my decisions on first impressions, but rather to give people the chance to change and slowly let their façade fall away, to put it back on again and then rediscover the, perhaps familiar, security of showing themselves freely.
For me, freedom means being able to make decisions in full awareness of the positive and negative aspects. Freedom is pure responsibility for yourself.
I am interested in feelings, emotions, moods in all their nuances and in my own process
I am currently exploring the question of whether a great, powerful feeling can have a childlike version and an adult version and how to get from one to the other without losing intensity.
I love aesthetics, the sensual and always try to see the beauty in things and in people. The therapeutic process, coaching or my art can't do without beauty either. Here, too, aesthetics are meant at second glance.
My aim is not to make “negative” feelings disappear, but to take away their heaviness, their frightening aspects and thus give them joy, pleasure and appreciation.
The ability for people to work on and influence their psyche, their soul, is the greatest miracle and the greatest gift of mankind.
